Our Story

Our Casa Verde journey began with our first visit to Camotes in July 2022. Captivated by the island’s serene beauty, our family of three with roots in Cebu as well as in Germany moved to the Philippines in September 2022. By October 2022, we decided to start our project in Camotes, and construction began in March 2023. Inspired by the island’s traditions and landscapes, our resort aims to reflect Camotes’ essence. We want to share this special place with guests, offering the tranquility and charm that captivated us.

While ensuring our facilities provide a high-quality experience, we remain committed to protecting the island’s environment. As we continue our work in Camotes, we are excited to announce our expansion to Port Barton in Palawan, with construction starting in February 2024, bringing the same level of care and dedication to preserving local culture and beauty.

We implement a comprehensive waste management program to minimize our impact on the planet. We go beyond simple recycling by actively reducing waste at its source, responsibly sorting materials for reuse and recycling, and even composting organic waste.

We are actively reducing plastic waste by replacing single-use plastic room amenities with eco-friendly alternatives. This includes switching from plastic toiletries to refillable dispensers, using paper or bamboo straws instead of plastic, and providing glass or reusable bottles for water.
